My husband and I currently live in NJ. I work in NJ and he commutes by train to work in Philadelphia. We are thinking about buying a house in Morrisville PA because it is close to the trenton station and it seems to be a nice small town. I wonder what is the housing market like there? Would it be hard to resell the house in a few years? Any information would be much appreciated!

My impression is that it can sell, just may take awhile. The nicer part of Trenton, possibly the nicest part, downtown, is just across the other side of that bridge. Trenton in general is famous for not being that safe. On the Morrisville side, it's a world of a difference. There's a bookstore worth checking out on Fri. nights 6-12A called Classics in Trenton. They have game nights during that time, so they are open for about 14 hours that day rather than the usual 8 or so.

The only concern I would have about Morrisville would be the school system. If you go one town over to Yardley, the schools are much better as is the resale value for that reason. Good luck!
