The Eagles signed Michael Vick, the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback who was recently released from prison, to a two-year contract, the team confirmed tonight.

What are they thinking?

Where does he fit in? He seems to good to merely be a backup.

If Vick can get back in good form, Philly will have someone who step in if McNabb gets clobbered.

I think you meant "when McNabb gets clobbered" since it happens every year.

Good pickup for the Eagles. A better backup than AJ Feely for sure.

Eagles drafted Kevin Kolb a couple years ago. This will be a distraction to the team, and I am sure that some of the guys in the locker room will not like to have Vick around.

Wildcat offense is what they are thinking.

A heap of trouble is what they will be getting. This will ruin the season worse than the TO scandal.

I am absolutley disgusted with this move. This whole season is going to be a circus, every press conference is going to be constant Vick questions instead of about the game. The PETA nuts will be protesting. I think Vick is a scumbag and I refuse to root for him. I hope he get leveled on his first play. This move really made me care a lot less about the Eagles this year.

Oh well, Philly is a baseball town now anyways. Go Phils!

Let's not forget that Vick is a crappy quarterback. He has a lousy arm.

And Philly fans will not like it if he flips the bird to the fans like he did in Atlanta.

I don't understand Eagles fans defending this move....you all know that if the Cowboys, Giants, or Redskins signed him, you would be blasting them and rubbing it in to their fans.

I would like to see how far the PETA nuts get @ Lincoln Stadium, when the Philly Fans get a couple shots of Jaeger in them, and decide they are not in the mood
