One Eagle fan told me he poured a beer on his own fan becuse he wore the wrong colors to the game and didn't wear enough green.
Yet one more thing to be so proud of.

The guy was practically your entire offense when you went to those early NFC championship games because he was running and throwing. The guy can throw deep but he lacks the WR's to get open deep and he plays in Andy Reid's west coast offense. Funny but playing the west coast offense never got other great QB's criticized but somehow McNabb is marginalized for playing in it. I have no idea why he chose to remain in Philadelphia. If I was him, I would have left for a team with more weapons. THe fans in Philly are loyal but your owner is incredibly cheap. You should have won a Superbowl by now and it has a lot to do with him. Imagine if Philly instead of New England gave more than a 4th round pick for Randy Moss.

Great post!! Every year McNabb asks for more weapons, and they usually don't go out and sign anyone legitimate. DeSean Jackson is a playmaker tho. I am a big Eagles fan and you are 100% right that Lurie is cheap and its ownership's fault that they haven't won a Super Bowl. There are a couple of quarterbacks better than McNabb but he is definitely up there in the top 5 i would say. They need to get him some weapons.

What are you talking about, Eli is a hero in NY and is practically worshipped now. McNabb wasn't getting respect immediately following the Super Bowl. He was criticized initially for being only a mobile QB. Then he learns to throw in the pocket and he still gets criticized. The guy gets no respect. You booed him on draft day. Eli didn't get booed on draft day. You guys didn't like McNabb from the start. And in the TO feud, it seemed like half the Eagles fans took TO's side even though TO was clearly at fault in the whole situation and even admits it now. Eagles fans love all their players except for McNabb. Even Randall Cuningham was beloved in Philly even when he threatened to leave. It's just strange

Only one team can win the title and it's extremely hard to do in football. Just be THANKFUL you had a team good enough for the past ten years to compete for a title.
