Hello I am doing demolition to my South Philly house and I need to get rid of the plaster & woodslates that the house was built with. Im only doing the master bedroom so its not that much for a full 10 yard dumpster and the trashmen are being very generous but im afraid i need to get rid of more then allowed for a weeks worth of trash and cant find a dump that will take the plaster. I called the dump on 63rd & passyunk and they said they dont want the plaster.

Where can i take my trash?? Its under a ton so i dont want to pay over 80$ for trash. I know Richard Burns Containers will take it but they are on Rising Sun Ave and i dont want to risk the load being spilled onto 95 so im looking for a dump in South Philly. Where can i dump my trash people???!?!?!

Kudos for asking! 90% of Philly residents would dump it at the end of a dead-end street, behind an abandoned building or next to Amtrak/Septa tracks. Unfortunately you have to go the container company route as they have the permits to dispose of properly.

Ask your neighbors if they have anything that needs going to the dump and ask for a few bucks. You'll be surprised.

Bernardsville is nowhere near Philly. Why are you asking us?

Default Dump

I didn't ask for Philly. I have a crew (6 young men) which one is my son--in Bernardsville New Jersey that needs to find out where to dump tree debris. They came their from Alabama to help people out and have been working all day. Of course as you can tell they don't know their way around that area being from Alabama but at least they are helping people in need as we were helped when tornado came through Alabama. Now they are out riding looking for a motel, with no luck. If you or anyone can give me any info on this I sure will appreciate it.
