I know it's far from what most would want to travel for a Cheese steak, but I prefer Dalessandro's on Henry ave and Wendover st in Roxborough.

Now that's a cheese steak!

Pat's and Jerko's (geno's) are for tourists.

If we are going to mention cheesesteak places anywhere in Philadelphia, then Tony Luke's at Front and Oregon in far south Philadelphia deserves a mention.
