My husband and I are considering purchasing a home in Warminster between Easton and Street Roads on Essex - and we have no idea if this is a safe area, a value for the money, what the crime stats are like, etc. If anyone has any experience or thoughts on this area, it would be greatly appreciated.

There are virtually no crime issues within many miles of Warminster. I would not worry at all. It's one of many older bedroom communities in the northern suburbs. The only safety concerns you will have would be crossing that major intersection with Street Road (gotta love that ironic name!) without getting hit!

No problem with that area at all. It's a bit older, but I woudlnt say theres an abnormal amount of crime in any parts of Warminster - the worst you're going to get are kids breaking into your car to steal your cds

You should be fine. I was raised in the Moreland Manor section of Hatboro which is just to the south of Warminster. That area has been always quiet and safe except for the Lacey Park area. That area I would avoid. Otherwise you would have no problem with crime.

You should read the local paper around here (The Intellegencer). When they have the police reports printed it's nothing but DUI arrests and people breaking into cars for change and ipods. Nothing serious happens in the area you are looking at.

I lived in Horsham for years and can tell you that Warminster never has anything going on with regards to crime. It's an older settled area, people are overall friendly, traffic has picked up a lot over the last few years due to people moving here and new stores and shopping plazas opening but if you can deal with the traffic, you should be fine. You can also check Warrington, Horsham, Warminster, etc... all surrounding areas are quiet and close to everything.

It's a great area. I think you will be happy. It's convenient to just about everything.

We lived in Bucks County for seven years and loved it. Had to move to the mountains for job-related issues, we're happy here...but miss Bucks alot.

Default The MEWS

the MEWS and Graeme park are holes of low class unemployed dirtbags. there are a lot of bar fights, road rage and petty theft. Most of the region is cool, but there are some serious pockets of crap.
