Hi everyone,
me and my husband would like to be close to Philly but not exactly in it. Any suggestions to which suburb would be a good idea? We are looking anywhere where the housing is decent, and where there is "technology around". But housing would be a major concern. Since, if we are close to Philly, we can go there...Thanks.

Tijana

The closer you get to Philly the more expensive the housing. What kind of home were you thinking of? What price range?

I'd say somewhere between $300,000 - $400, 000. I am trying to find a good spot in South Chester, but there are so many places around, so I am confused...

Looking at a map of Philadlephia the technology jobs run along the 202 corridor. Wilmington,West Chester,Newtown Square,Malvern,Great Valley,King of Prussia,Conshohocken,Plymouth Meeting,Horsham,West Point points north towards Princeton.

Be careful pencilpucky will have you living in East Jabip.

West Chester,Media,King of Prussia,Plymouth Meeting areas would be good places to begin your search imo.

Talking Jabip speaking out!

I would take a day in Jabip over West Chester (Cluster) anyday. Not everyone wants to live where you want to rainrock. Some people LOVE the country.

Be sure to Check out Conshohocken. I love it here!! If you're smart and not to overly picky about having a brand new house, then you're all set to move here. Budget in mind. Conshohocken is close to everything!! And it's a younger more urban style suburb. Good luck.
