i work in bala. fiance is in media. Of course she wants to move down south but im not about to leave my job right now. so areas of consideration are media, prospect park, ridley park, west chester, south jersey(whatever areas are reasonable as far as commute), newtown square, etc

1) 2 adults, 2 kids (ages 6 and 4)

2) looking to rent right now

3) would like something no more than 1100 a month including utilities

4) would prefer a townhouse/condo. no apartment complexes. unless they are like townhomes.

I don't know enough to offer good advice on what you're considering... but why not Springfield, Broomall or Marple? Those are more equidistant to your employers than any of your current options.

Lower Merion schools are great - I would choose that then Wallingford-Swarthmore then Rose Tree Media to live in. Wallingford also puts you that much closer to the city...
