an OT gripe, but shouldn't the question be whiz or provolone not coke or pepsi?
so, why not willow grove itself?

Point taken about replacing the soda question with something even more "cheesy".

Yes, Willow Grove is fine although there's not a whole lot of rental inventory right there, to my knowledge. There are a few low-rise apartment complexes in Roslyn, many more in Glenside and a couple high-rises in Jenkintown. But I have no idea about home rentals. The size of her canine companion won't be a small factor.

The best thing I could suggest is to look at sites like Apartments for Rent and Rentals - Free Apartment Finder | ApartmentGuide.com, the list that Craig puts out, and maybe a local paper like http://www.timesherald.com/ .

There's a several apartment complexes in Willow Grove, but they are mostly in the part of Willow Grove that is part of Upper Moreland Twp and closer to Horsham. I think there are many more options there than in Roslyn (WG is also much bigger). I've seen a decent number in Willow Grove, they are low rise and maybe townhome rentals too, over near Maryland Ave, Commerce Ave, over there. Biggest problems are going to be the big dog and possibly your budget, no idea about either. I think one reason there are apartment complexes there is because they allow for business execs a place to stay instead of hotels when they are in Horsham for a longer time, so that's one reason I think its going to be the upper end of your budget or over.

Jenkintown is also a nice option. Again, not sure on cost (you didn't mention how big a place you wanted) and especially the dog. I'm thinking the high rises are going to be too expensive for your set budget though.

A few other areas to look in are Hatboro, Warrington, Warminster, and Feasterville.

Definitely biggest issue will be your dog Apartment complexes are going to want to only allow dogs under a certain size, and private home rentals typically don't allow pets at all, however there are some who do because in this market, a tenant is a tenant, dog or not.. So I would actually in this case be inclined to say checking the MLS for a private home rental is the way to go.

Your best bet is to get rid of the dog. Or see if someone back in Charlette can take it until you purchase your own home. I have a few rental properties and I would not rent to a dog owner, especially a dog that is 100lbs +. Its not worth the inevitable damage and mess. Good luck with your search.

Willow Grove, Hatboro, Horsham, Abington, Jenkintown, Ft. Washington, and Ambler will yield lots of choices and still keep you within 20-30 minutes of work.

I don't think the dog is going to be an issue - especially if you rent a house and offer a larger than usual deposit.

!!!
Other than being 30 minutes from Willow Grove you didn't really say what you wanted.

Ambler, Jenkintown and Hatboro are all within 30 minutes of Willow Grove.

I would list them in that order since Ambler and Jenkintown have movie theaters and a few more restaurants.
