Im traveling to Philly this weekend and was wondering if anybody could tell me the easiest way to park and take transit around the city. If preferable id like to park outside the city and then take the train in, but no longer than like a 10-15 minute ride or so. Like I only know instances with NYC where ill park in Staten Island or Jersey and take the ferry or the PATH in. Im kinda unfamiliar with Philly so im trying to find a similar route.

Thanks!

You could park at Ft. Washington Station (off of 276) and take the R5 in or you could park at one of the Route 100 stations just off of 476 (Villanova comes to mind as a convenient place.

But really, if it's a weekend, you're probably better off parking at Penn's Landing, walking over to 2nd & Market, buying a day pass and doing your thing from there.

There is a parking lot directly off the Broad street exit of 676 directly accross from Hanamen (sp) hospital, basically between 15th and 16th on Vine, $5 a day, a steal in the city
