Hello all,

I am a single, young professional female moving from Chicago to Scottsdale for work. Can anyone recommend some apartment complexes for rent not too far from the junction of 101 and Shea blvd? I am considering apartments in zips 85258, 85259, and 85260 mainly. Looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom place in a safe area that is under $900 a month (furnished or unfurnished).

Does anyone have a recommendation for specific neighborhoods or apartment complexes? I don't have too much information about the area, so any info. would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would come and stay in an extended stay hotel for a week or two, or more if you need it, and look around for yourself. There's at least one of those not far from there. Get some suggestions here, yes, but you would benefit by not rushing into anything, and find something that really feels right to you.

I live in the 85258 zip code. It is very safe, and a lovely part of Scottsdale. Check out craigslist for apts or condos in the Mccormick Ranch/ Scottsdale Ranch area. I think you will find something that you will like that will also be in your budget. Good luck and welcome to AZ.
