Hello,

I'm from northern Va and am thinking about coming to ASU for their music therapy program. This probably won't be for a couple of years, but I was wondering.. anybody heard anything about it? I don't know why I have always been drawn to AZ. my entire life and I still have yet to visit, but ASU also has a native american studies program that I'd love to do as well. Anyway, any advice is greatly appreciated and of course, anything about which good places to live vs. dangerous areas, cheap vs. exspensive, dull vs. boring, etc. is always welcome.

I probably should have studied music therapy but read some varying things about it. I was curious if there is really any demand for it and what those positions pay roughly so I am curious too.

are you curious about music therapy in general? I don't know much about ASU. musictherapy.org is a good websit to visit, it also has a listing of other schools that offer it. I did a general search for a music therapist's salary and it's anywhere between 35 and 70,000- of course that all depends on varying degrees, where you get the job, etc. it's not a typical job to go for for the money, but I want to do it because it's different and I think I might get some neat experiences out of it. Are you thinking about going to ASU?

Hey i heard a lot about music therapy and feels pretty interesting and useful as it helps a lot for mental health. Also there are various good schools that offers proper music therapy course, a good future ahead in this field.
