My husband and I moved here from Phoenix about 8 years ago. We were only suppose to be here for 6 months and ended up getting stranded. We have struggled every year trying to make our way back but something always come up. I've been reviewing the posts related to employment in Phoenix but can't seem to find anything current. Has it improved any . My husband is in need of medical attention he is being denied here. If we can get back to Phoneix he should be able to work again.

The income vs. cost of living in this town is laughable. I have a BSB in Management and 6 years experience and cannot find anything better then $18,600 annually. There is no way this will do when I am the soul supporter of a family of 5. Please tell me things have gotten better out there.

It depends on what job you are looking for and what your skills are--there are good jobs here--but the unemployment rate has not changed much over the last year and is just under 10%.

Ritchie_az is right that it depends on the job you are looking for.
But the other plus side is that homes right now are extremely inexpensive, and the market is great for buying.
How soon are you looking at getting back out here?
