Excluding home cost and job/employment, would you (along with your family of course) rather live in Maricopa County or San Diego County?

Please answer the poll question, then feel free to state why, excluding the two reasons mentioned, you would prefer the one you choose.

Since I was born in Phoenix and lived there for 30 years I am shocked I am the only one who voted for San Diego. The premise of the poll is that cost of living was excluded. If it were not for that I would be living in San Diego right now. San Diego is way better than Phoenix OR Vegas. You have MUCH better weather and a beautiful beach and ocean. That is my reasons I guess.

I'm with you LVD. If housing and a job were not an issue, We'd be in Cardiff right now.

I moved as far west as I could handle. I don't agree with many of California's political agendas. If I could take Arizona's government along with me I would live in San Diego. The landscape is gorgeous. Just way too left for me.

Good point. It probably would be a tougher decision in reality.

I voted for San Diego too. If I could get my husband to move there I'd be there. Beach over desert always!

That's exactly what my husband says. I would just tune those loons out and enjoy the ocean.

Weather and Ocean/Beaches....SD FTW! I also like their downtown and public transportation better. We also don't have a Sea World/Aquarium and our Zoo isn't as nice. Their schools have to be better than ours, right?
