High of 48 low of 32 with rain on Thurday and high of 44 low of 32 on Friday?!

I thought I was looking at the wrong city on Weather.com but I wasn't (Glendale 85310).

I don't ever remember a high temp so low for the Phoenix area, 44 degrees!
And a chance of rain? Could we actually see some snow?

Edit: Ok I checked and we have had lower high temps but hasn't happened in 73 years when there was a high temp of 39 degrees in January of 1937. November of 1919 had a 40 degree high day and December of 1898 had a 36 degree day. If we stay below 46 degrees on Friday this week, it will be the 4th coldest high temp ever recorded.

Good. This 74 degrees in winter crap was starting to scare me. I still have my ac on. It has been a HOT winter this year, and in all my years, ( most of my life here) It has never been like this . I hope it is not a new trend. If I dont catch a break from the heat of summer and have to be hot all year, I am moving!!!

I'm in Central Fla right now, and it's COLD. Nice to know I'll get back in time to cover the tender plants at home!

Some of the weather sites haven't picked up on it yet, but models are showing an arctic blast on the way for late this week. Suburban lows in the low 20s/teens might be a reality with day time highs not much above 50, if that. New Years Eve (block party) looks really nippy if the cloud deck breaks up. Snow level around 3000 feet, which is too high for the valley. Foot or more of snow up north.

I wouldn't expect it to stick but maybe some flurries in the air?

On a related note, has anyone eve seen snow on Camelback Mountain? It's peak is at 2706 ft and I would think it would get some here and there but I've never seen it with snow on the peak.

Yeah, I havent seen anything about HIGH's in the 40s (official NWS site shows highs in low 50s)....but low of 22 predicted here in CG on Thursday night! Thats colder than the Thanksgiving weekend blast where we got down to 25 and I nearly froze to death!
