Researching a summer vacation with a 4.5 and 2 year old. We were thinking of the Phoenician and then heading to Sedona for a few days. Is it kid friendly? Enough to do for kids this age? Any advice? Thanks.

Looks like neither of your kids will be quite old enough for this:

Phoenician | Funician Kids' Club at The Phoenician | A Family-Friendly Phoenix Hotel and Resort

Neither the Phoenician nor Sedona are going to hold much charm for such young kids.

The Phoenician is wonderful. Your children might be a little too young to appreciate it. They do have a children's "spa", but the 2 year old will be too young.

Check out the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau for more area info.

By the way don't forget, summer vacation in Scottsdale will be very hot 100+ Sedona will be cooler, but it is not that kid friendly, except maybe some of the resorts.
