Here is a great shot taken by someone on another forum...

Probably one of the best I've ever seen. Why is it so great? It shows how downtown really is right in the mix of things.
When ever we see a photo of downtown Phoenix, everything looks so spread out but when you're there, it doesn't feel that way...and this photo really shows that.

The photo was taken from the 23rd story of a residential tower that is currently under construction on the edge of downtown.

Again, great photo by Gump. This should be used as a promotional photo by Summit. Hell if I had the money, this shot definitely sold me on it.

Wow! Nice pictures HX_Guy! I love the first one taken from one of the top floors at the Summit at Copper Square. I'm sure when City Scape is built, it'll look even more spectacular!

CityScape would fit in so perfect on those empty parking lots right in the center of downtown. I hope that goes through.

Also, the ASU dorms will have a bit of an impact once completed. You can see where they will be built in the picture, where the red/white tower crane is a little left of the Sheraton hotel under construction. At 161', they will stand pretty tall. The AZ Republic building is 124' and can be seen on the right edge of the photo.

Wow, nice! I hope they continue to build it up downtown. It will hopefully bring some more good eateries and fun stuff!

I really like Downtown Phoenix, it's probably one of the cleanest downtown's I've ever been in. It may not be huge but steadily it's growing. I know a read something in the paper not so long ago about the rebirth of downtown, very good article if I could find it again.

Great photos.
