Okay, I am not trying to bash or anything I just want to get a better understanding. I really really don't like Phoenix, it's not for me, I think it's ugly, unsustainable and so on and so on. I am just curious to learn a little more about why people in Phoenix decided to move there? What are your reasons? How do you see the city in 15 years from now? What about water issues?

I really am just curious. Phoenix is a very unconventional city in the way it's built and where it's located. I just want to learn a little more about the primary reasons that people move there. I can imagine affordability and jobs (at one point) were the draw, but what made you pick Phoenix other places in similar situations like cities in Texas, the south and the rest of the the southwest.

I don't understand but I want a little insight.

If you have already decided you hate it, why do you care, and what is the point of this thread? You say you don't intend to bash, but you already have, in this thread: //www.city-data.com/forum/city-...o-arizona.html

No place is for everyone. Ask about any city in the country, and you'll find people who love it and people who hate it.

There's plenty of threads discussing your questions already. Spend some time reading them, and you will learn more than "a little more".
