As I'm nearing ASU, I'm starting to map out some parts of my later life. I want to have a family and I want to live in Downtown Phoenix. Perferrably I want to live in 44 Monroe. Anyone know if the area is suitable for kids?
I've been there myself numerous times to explore but from the stand point of a teenager so I have some common sense.
Thoughts?

I think raising kids in a high rise condo, in an area like this where being outside playing is so much a part of the kid lifestyle, would have a big something missing for the kids. This will be a joint decision with your future wife, who will have at least an equal say in the matter. I'd think more toward finding a house in one of the older neighborhoods in central Phx. Some friends of mine live there with young children. Much better lifestyle.
