Retail stores has shown a tremendous positive growth over past 2-3 years in US. Thanks to merchant services. People now rely on secure payment gateway provided by retail stores. The real credit goes to the businesses who is offering merchant accounts, credit card terminals and online payment gateway, so that people can use retail store online also.

But the good news is that job market is increasing (slowly though). This means there will be increase in the usage of credit cards and debit cards also. And with such scarce source of money people will always look for a secure payment gateway while doing a transaction during happy hours of shopping.
