Hi,

I'm moving to the west valley June 1st and I found a great place on west early drive. I was wondering if anyone had any info on the area. It looks nice, but I'm wondering about crime.

also, I'll be working in avondale. The drive doesn't look too bad. How is traffic going west in the morning?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What block of West Earll are you talking about? You could be in the middle of Maryvale, which is not the best area, though some who live there who post here have not had problems. The reverse commute you would be doing should be okay.

Ya whats the major cross streets? Traffic on the i10 west of 83rd ave is not bad at all since the 3rd lane opened up. Runs all the way to buckeyd

That is a pretty nasty area...right in the middle of the aforementioned Maryvale district. I wouldn't live there. Since you will be working in Avondale, you might consider Avondale or Goodyear. Can probably get a better house for a similar price.

I googled 6000 W Earll Dr. I know it's not the exact house, but a picture is worth 1000 words here. There may be a reason it's so cheap.

Come rent in the Valley first, look around, get familiar with the different areas. THEN think about buying.
