We have lived in the Midwest for our entire lives (50+ years) and are relocating in 4 weeks. Kind of a short notice with my employer. Looking forward to it. Could you help me with a few questions please. What is a good local bank with several branches. We are thinking of the northwest Phoenix and suburbs area. Does Phoenix have a good low rate airline at any airport? We have Allegiant Air, are there any similar airlines? Is there a website that lists houses for rent until we can buy a house. Thanks in advance!

Southwest flies out of Sky Harbor, big presence. Just about every major airline flies out of Sky Harbor.

We also have Allegiant that flies out of Phoenix/Mesa Gateway in Mesa. But direct routes are pretty limited.

We also have every major national bank and few locals. Desert Schools Credit Union is a full service operation that competes with the big banks pretty well.

www.Rent.com is a good place to look for rentals. You might also want to contact a real estate agent that works in that area to look in the Multiple Listing for you. Welcome!

Yes, most flights to other hub cities are inexpensive because Phoenix is a hub. The flights to smaller towns get more expensive. Welcome to AZ. What area are you moving to?
