Current best route to Wickenburg? (Phoenix, Glendale: cars, year, better)

Coming on I-10 from the east through PHX, at various times I've used the 101, the 303, or even US60 at it's I-10 junction taking it all the way through Phoenix, Glendale and Sun City (that one is usually painful).

Recently the 303 was the best bet for me, but it has been a year or so. Is it still viable or is 101 better?

Why not I-17 to Carefree Hwy and then CF west?

From I-17 there are only 3 stop lights, I-17 & CF, CF & Lake Pleasant Rd (don't count the DNR cause it only is red when cars are exiting the DNR), and CF & US60.

That is how I would go.

That's the way I go also. But it would depend where I am coming from.
