You missed the annual mud event yesterday in Scottsdale. We took ours there years ago and they had a ball. Four might be a little young. Put it on your things to do for next year though.

Camp Verde is nearly 100 miles from Phoenix (give or take, of course). The o/p specified 30-50 miles away...

The Aquarium inside the Tempe mall, plus dinner @ adjacent Rainforest Cafe. Big bucks, but nice n cool and guaranteed to impress the children.

Today i went to Hamilton Acquatic center, it's pretty good, and quite reaosnable in price, you can spend 2-3 hours with kids

The place i was talking about in Chandler on Az Avenue is called Play Factory. 2 kids (just turned 1 last week and the ohte will turn 4 next month) played for about 2 hours before the little one got tired. The other one was good to go for another hour or so and finally wanted to stop playing b/c she was too sweaty....Worth the entry fee!

There is another one in Desert Ridge maybe??? Somewhere out there.

We did exactly this just a couple of weekends ago. The 4 and 6-year olds in the group loved both! (As did I to tell you the truth.) Try and get a table near the gorillas or elephants in the RFC.. The 4-year old just about fainted with happiness every time the baby gorilla swung over our heads.
