I found this interesting because it was not too long ago I brought this up and it seems that I am not the only one does not like a heavy handed group telling me what I can do with property I bought and paid for. I understand that living in a historic district there are some common sense things...but clearly some in HPO had a power trip.

A few days after the Phoenix council and mayoral election last month, the City Manager's Office informed Barbara Stocklin that she was being removed from her nine-year post as historic-preservation director and was the focus of a city-led internal investigation, according to interviews and city documents obtained by The Arizona Republic.
