What use is a law if it's not enforced?

You should contact your APT manager about this. Fireworks are illegal here too, but that means absolutely nothing.

I agree....I live in a rural area with desert/mountains behind me and every new years you can hear guns being fired off not far from me....can be scary, would much rather listen to fireworks .

I didn't know it was an Arizona tradition. I thought it was just something that went on everywhere.

Not anymore. There's actually a law against it since a little girl was killed from a bullet shot in the air. Came down and killed her. The law is named for her. I'd have to Google it to find out but I DO remember when it happened and the law passed not long after.

I know personally two individuals who were arrested for fireworks. One served time from a Casa Grande arrest.
