Hi everyone,

I'm planning on moving to Arizona (Phoenix area) and found this apartment. I tried to look online for crime rates for this area and can't find what I'm looking for. Did or does anyone live in this apartment complex or close to this area and can tell me how the crime rates are? Or any suggestions for nice areas and apartments to live in Phoenix area (Tempe, Mesa, and anything close by is fine). Thanks.

Not the best area. If you are so flexible that you want advice on Mesa, Tempe, too, you can probably do better than this. Most importantly, where will you be working, and what is your rental budget? Gas prices being what they are, it's getting more and more important to live close to work if at all possible. You can afford a little more for rent if you are not blowing your budget on gasoline.

I had an apartment a bit over a year ago in Mesa. Initial rent was $625 but they were raising it to $650 if I would have renewed. But nice apartment, nice area. And included free basic cable. At Baseline and Higley, the Mesa/Gilbert border. Colonial Grand at Inverness Commons.
