in central phx? like 6 bucks or less, and they really gotta know what they are doing.....it's for visas, which can be extra stringent.

I got mine at Walgreens, they seemed surprisingly good at it - they had a template for the clerk to use to make sure the size was right.

I had fine luck at CVS last month....and it was for a visa, not just a passport....try to go during the day on a weekday when somebody who knows what they're doing is more likely to be working....and look for online coupons for passport/visa photos...

also, I had fantastic luck with travelvisapro.com in getting the visa....fill out the forms, follow the instructions, mail it all in....small extra fee....worry-free

Last time we made ours at home. Just stood in front of a white fridge, took pictures, resized/cut on computer, and printed several sheets of them on the machine at Walgreens. It was easy. We backpacked all over Asia using those.
