Technically this is part Phoenix, part Glendale, and part Peoria...all three cities meet at 67th Ave and Happy Valley.
Either way, it's very typical of how northern parts of Glendale, Phoenix, and Peoria look...as do most areas of the Phoenix Metro area built in the last 10 years or so.
Unions Hills, 59th, 67th, and 75th Avenues are all major crossroads that each make up 1 sq. mi.with housing subdivisions between and shopping/restaurants/retail at each major intersection.

Haha, HX_Guy, just watched your videos. You should have been a tour guide as you drove through, pointing out all the attractions.
Your tour just goes to show how most of the Phoenix area-- at least the newer parts-- are pleasant looking, but boring and repetitive beyond belief.

I thought about having a dash cam and show how a typical commute is in Phoenix. hahaha.
I can't see your videos as I'm on my old computer and don't have flash installed. I'm sure they look good and I wish I could see them as it's my neighborhood, too.

It's true, newer parts of Phoenix look very nice, very manicured...but boring and repetitive.

This is true of many suburban areas across the country. Swap out the stucco for vinyl siding and it's about the same. It's also not 100% confined to newer areas as this picture of older Chicago Bungalows shows.
