As you've noticed, Wet n Wild is not a city facility, but a private for profit operation. Here is the map for Phoenix city pools on the west side. A few on the northwest side. Map and Addresses of Phoenix Swimming Pools - Phoenix West Side Arizona Public Pool Map With Phone Numbers

For the city of phoenix (if that is your residency) you would have access to the following at residents rate

map:
Official Site of the City of Phoenix - City of Phoenix Pool Map

list:
Official Site of the City of Phoenix - Pools and Classes

If you are looking more towards NW Valley then maybe some other cities public pools could work better - although it may cost an extra dollar or two as a non-resident

Peoria has 3 pools:
Aquatics-Swimming Pool Home

Glendale has 2 aquatic centers:
Glendale, AZ - Parks and Recreation - Pools

I haven't used any of them though so no real advice aside from what was posted

I have used the surprise aquatic center which is really nice and it's reasonable for a non-resident
