I found an event of the World Naked Bike Ride happening in San Francisco today. This appears to be an international event, held in other cities throughout the Northern Hemisphere on the second Saturday of June. I found this organization's website (WNBR) and Wikipedia page.

Bicycling is popular in the greater Phoenix area, and the weather is very warm. There is a link to the cities where this event is held, and no city in the greater Phoenix area is listed. Here is the list of locations in the western USA: List of rides - World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR).

There are many people in Arizona who are free-spirited and are not averse to wearing a minimal amount of clothing in public. Why isn't there a World Naked Bike Ride event in the greater Phoenix area?

What are you waiting for? A leader is needed for this new movement and it's your time to shine. I suggest a leisurely romp down Central.

Followed, some time later, by skin cancer.

Going wheels-up not only resulting in road rash, but 1st- & 2nd-degree burns.

Explaining the lack of tan lines could make for an interesting conversation.

You guys are bad!! hahaha....

I would say outside of the universities, Arizona as a whole is very conservative, and wouldn't want their family viewing naked people riding down the street.

Highpointer,

I am with Sunluv as you should coordinate the first naked bike ride here. Just make sure you recruit the sexy peeps
I've seen the Naked Bike Ride in Portland and just follow their guidelines.

I don't think Sheriff Arpaio would go for it. I could see the bike race coming to an abrupt halt as they are barricaded by the horse mounted sheriff and his posse.

The sheriff might put you in some pink underwear.
