Question for those who commute on the West Side of Phoenix - what would you estimate the rush hour commute (7:45am and 4:30pm) to be for the following route:

Morning commute:
Enter 101 at W. Camelback exit (near stadium in Glendale) and head North...exiting at the W. Union Hills Drive exit

Afternoon commute Enter 101 at W. Union Hills Drive and then head South getting off at W. Camelback exit

Is this going counter traffic or going in the same direction as rush hour traffic? Will it be a parking lot, stop and go or will we normally move at a pretty good speed?

Thank you so much in advance - any and all responses are greatly appreciated.

That's a reverse commute, for the most part. It won't be bad. Traffic will be a little heavy heading southbound in the afternoon but will still be moving pretty good. Going northbound in the morning is pretty easy. The 101 doesn't get bad going that way until about 43rd, so you're in the clear.

From where to where? Generally the 101 eastbound is a lot heavier than the 101 westbound, especially around the 51, in the morning with the opposite in the afternoon. The 101 westbound still gets heavy just east of the 51 because of people trying to get on the 51.
