I was just wondering if anyone here worked for Salt River Project or Pinnacle West (APS). I currently live in the northeast for a large utility company. I have a great job thats hard to leave, but want to relocate to Phoenix. I have applied for accounting or finance jobs at both companies, but am probably getting lost in the pile, or they have good local candidates.

If you happen to work there what do you think of the company? Also, any tips for getting a foot in the door?

I know people that work for both companies, and they would never leave. Actually, my brother-in-law just retired about 2 months ago from SRP after 35 years. That says a lot! I'm sure your past experience will help you get your foot in the door.

Thanks for the reply. I will have to just keep trying. I need to find a way to stand out as I am sure they get a lot of applicants.
