Looking for some suggestions on a place to go for my 24th birthday. I want to do something different than just a standard bar. Alcohol is a must though, we must be able to have alcohol... what's a birthday without it right?

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Lucky Strike Downtown has a cool vibe if you like bowling. You could rent a limo and go bar hopping. If its the weekend rent a cabana at a local resort and spend the day drinking at the pool (the Valley Ho is a good choice for this).

I was also going to suggest Lucky Strike or a cabana at say the W Scottsdale.

Both those hotels are good ideas, as you can wander around downtown Scottsdale from both locations, the W in particular, and check out some other bars/restaurants.

The bowling works, too... but I'd opt for the whole cabana thing.

Talking Stick Casino. They have bars, dueling pianos, hotel rooms if you are too drunk to drive. Camping and byob. The obvious thing is bar hopping in Scottsdale bars, Mill ave, Westgate, etc. The Sandbar (I think that's what it's called?) has a few locations around the valley. They have sand on their outdoor patio and sometimes giant games like Jenga to play. One of my friends celebrated their birthday at the one in Desert Ridge. He bought out a cabana sort of thing, but he had to pay for it if his party didn't buy $300 worth of drinks.

The dueling piano's at Talking Stick are a dud, IMO. Geared to the older crowd who didn't know what to do with it.

I would suggest The Shout House at WestGate for dueling piano's. Plenty of booze and craziness. Plus, be sure to tell them it's your birthday!

Haha, you are completely right. I always got stuck listening though while my husband went and played blackjack, so it sufficed for entertainment. And I forgot about the Shout House...that place is a blast! Lot's of other bars around too if you want to hop.
