Took some photos around the neighborhood that sits over I-10 near Mcdowell and 3rd Streets.

Some pretty contrasting levels of housing which is different in Phoenix and it gives a (nice mix and flavor ' )

The old Emerson school being restored. Great memories for many who went there.

From this morning outside Fountain Hills. Photo does not include the never ending weeping Quails.

Enjoying the photos. I've lived in the general Phoenix area since 1990 but there are things here I haven't seen and places I haven't visited, like the Gardens. Think I'll make a point of visiting in the Fall. I like to get over to the Phoenix Art Museum once in a blue moon, so it would be fun to do this at the same time. Driving in from San Tan Valley, so I like to make each trip count!

It's funny, in the 11+ years I lived in Tempe I was never interested in hanging out at the lake, but I drove over that bridge a ton of times on my way home from work during the night/early morning. Really like that photo of the bridge all lit up.

A couple more from Rio Salado. Went there Saturday. There was more water in the river bed than usual.

And one from under the bridge.
