So... might be moving to Az to work at Luke. Been to the area and was going to settle on buckeye before, but the commute seems to be a bit of a drive.. Any ideas for family with 2 boys 8 & 3. Wife works on medical as a records coder and would need to be near some of the local hospitals. Glendale..?

You can always look into the Surprise area. Safest city in Arizona, very family oriented, not a bad commute to the Luke AFB

As ibarrio states, Surprise is nice close to Luke. Also Arrowhead Hospital is about 16 miles from my home anyway. There are other homes that are closer. Also other hospitals that are very nice in the area. CHCW will be building a new hospital in the area starting in 2009 I think.

There are two hospitals in the Surprise area. If you live around Litchfield or Bullard in Surprise, it will take fifteen minutes to get to Luke.
