I am moving to the Tempe area but my boyfriend lives in Tucson, and input on the distance between the two?? Ill be mostly driving to Tucson on the weekend, wanted to know how long the drive might actually be

While it'd probably be quicker to look it up on Google Maps (versus posting on a relocation forum, and waiting for a serious answer)...

...it's about an hour and a half between Tempe and Tucson. Really depends where in Tucson he lives. Speeding, you could hit the north side of Tucson in around an hour.

As I told you on another thread, exactly how long depends on where in Tempe, where in Tucson, and sometimes what time of day. It will take more than an hour to get there, unless you are REALLY speeding. Figure less than two hours, depending on where exactly the end points are- that time frame will cover most locations.

Good point about time of day. I try to stay off the highways and main roads during rush hour. I-10, heading out of Tempe towards Tucson, is usually gridlocked all the way to the turnoff for Maricopa. It can easily take 30-45 minutes just to get that far with traffic.

If only there were a website that estimated travel time based on traffic and also displayed current traffic conditions. That would be awesome!
