Looking for opinions on the best Casinos in the Phoenix Area, closest to North Phoenix the better! I play table blackjack and occasionally play the 5 card draw poker tables.

I would vote for Talking Sticks, Indian Bend and 101. Relatively new facility, and close to your area.

I second that. Definitely Talking Stick at 101 and Indian Bend is good and closest to North Phoenix.

Be aware that in all the casinos in the valley, in blackjack dealers are allowed to hit on a soft 17; this drastically reduces your odds of winning. You'll never see this in Vegas.

The best overall Casino is Casino Arizona Talking Stick @ Loop 101 / Indian Bend. The best bingo hall is Casino Arizona McKellips / Salt River at Loop 101 / McKellips.

That's not true at all. Depends on if you are talking about the stip or downtown or other casinos in Vegas. On the Strip I doubt you will find a table under $100 where the dealer DOESN'T hit soft 17. Maybe downtown Vegas you will find dealers standing on soft 17's, but there is only 1 casino on the strip that I know of that has dealer stand on soft 17, and it's usually only at 1 or 2 $25 tables and up. Also most casinos (on the strip) now pay blackjack at 6:5, as far as I know Casino Arizona still pays 3:2.

It actually is a pretty minor difference to the odds in favor of the house. This rule variation increases the house edge by 0.22%.
