I used to live in the Kierland Greens condos which were very nice and affordable. They're on the Kierland Westin golf course and it's an easy walk to Kierland Commons. There are always some rentals available so check the classifieds online or just drive through and look for signs.

Many of the units are owned by snowbirds so you wind up having few neighbors in summer which can be good or bad depending on your point of view.

Thank you I have been looking at the Kierland Greens, The Plaza Residences, and the Venu and Edge at Grayhawk....

I wish the Kierland Lofts were more afordable.... or the Optima camel village in old town...

You know of any other forums to find places... its very hard to find a lease when you want all the top notch amenities and when they are all owned by owner...

Optima Camelview condos are renting really cheap thanks to the housing crash and all the idiot investors who bought units there. Check craigslist. I'd avoid Greyhawk since it's notorious for it's snobbery and rude people and there's nothing to do up there unlike Kierland with plenty of bars & restaurants.

Rentals in Optima (that originally sold for a million dollars plus) can be had for as little as $2,000/month if you're persistent and check both craigslist and the azcentral.com classified every day.

I don't know anything about Safari ... I left Arizona 9 months ago so I'm not on top of things anymore.
