Hey everyone, i need to find an apartment in the east valley. Me, my gf, and two kids will be moving to phoenix soon, one kid is high school aged and the other middle school. As of now i have some in mind (3), but i need to expand my options, 2 of the 3 are chandler and one is mesa. If you live in an apartment community as of now, or know of a community you believe to be nice could you please provide me with the name so i can research it. Thank you all.

Not sure if you are looking specifically for just Mesa and Chandler but I lived in Tempe, AZ at El Diablo Apartments. When I was there Gloria was the manager. She is so great and goes out of her way to take care of her residents and gets to know everyone. Really great community and decent price. Majority of tenants are graduate students so not wild and crazy parties. Gloria throws parties for the residents to get everyone to know each other. The only downside is they don't have washer/dryer hookups in the apartment. The owner spoke with me about it and was frustrated he was unable to offer that option. She has a great community laundry on site that is kept clean. Good luck. Phoenix is a fun area but the heat really got to me. I do miss Arizona.
