Hello everyone,
I would like to thank everyone for your great posts that helped make our transition to Goodyear a very pleasant one!! I have a couple of questions:
1. We would like to landscape our backyard with a wall that would divide the yard and allow people to sit on it ( a couple of feet high), stamped concrete and rock. Any suggestion on an economical way to do this? Landscape company, landscape designer, call from business cards? Does the wall go in before the stamped concrete?

2. Hubby is commuting from Indian School and Pebble Creek (or Litchfield) and it seems to take an hour. Is there a time at which he can leave and it will take less time? I know while growing up in SoCal, 15 minutes could make a huge difference. He leaves at 0600 and takes the I-10 to the airport. Any tips or hints? I realize there may not be, but I figure maybe somebody knows a "take this or that street" or "if you leave at 0545, the commute is only 35 minutes"

Thanks again for everyone's help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traffic is only going to get worse. Can he change his hours? Welcome to AZ! Glad you made the move.

Is he commuting to Sky Harbor or Luke AFB? From my experience, leaving 15 minutes earlier makes a huge difference. Even 5 minutes has made a difference in traffic flow for me. I've always been in the East Valley, so I would say, just try it.

Hi,
My user name is not really too accurate anymore. He has retired and is commuting to Sky Harbor.
Thanks!

Oh ok!

Try giving it an extra 5, then 10 minutes, etc. On the east side, I know traffic varies a lot in a matter of minutes.

I would try to leave 15 minutes early and see if that helps. I agree with everyone else. I commuted from the East Valley and if I left a few minutes later I had big problems.
