We'll be moving in to our new home in Casa Grande next Monday. Driving cross country from MD starting Thursday evening. Shortly after our arrival I'll be shipping out an '89 Mustang GT that I'm very anxious to get back to work modifying. Are there any reputable speed shops and body shops close by? I haven't done much with my pet project over the last few years due to a tight budget but this move is going to provide alot of breathing room. I was spoiled working with Justin's Performance Center here in MD a few years back when I had play money. If any of you watch "Pinks" you've heard of JPC. Hoping to find a shop of similar caliber and credibility. She is in need of some paint and minor body work as well. Any guidance?

You'd think as big as our car scene is here, we'd have a ton...and you'd be wrong. About the only "credible" muscle shop around is Loper's Performance, and I haven't been too terribly happy with them. Product selection is good, but it seems the last few of the younger folks they hired seem to value making an impression over accurate information, and the older guys just seem like any one coming into the store is just there to waste their time. As much I love to support the little local guys, I find myself reaching for the Summit catalog more and more and these days rather than making the drive to Lopers.

We also have the So-Cal speed shops, but they cater more to the hot rod/street rod crowd than the muscle cars.

Now, if you're in of a good 4x4 shop, we have PLENTY of those

My husband works for an excellent body shop and his work specifically has been featured in national magazines. Private message me if you'd like the info - he doesn't get any extra bonuses from referrals but I also want to make sure to stay within rules of the forum.

I would stay away from Lopers, and try Chuck's Speed Center.
As far as a body shop or painter, I have a neighbor/friend that owns a body shop in the east valley.
Not sure about forum rules, so pm me for his name and number.
Great guy, does a lot of muscle cars and street rods.
