I am looking to sign my 15 1/2 year old son up for a good drivers ed type program ( the high schools do not seem to offer them anymore ). I looked up info on the following schools and was wondering if anyone had any personal feedback or stories. Our first choice is Driving MBA ( very expensive ) the other options are ABC driving school and Stop and Go driving school ( much more reasonably priced ). We are located in Scottsdale and would appreciate any experiences or info.

Thanks

Scott

Even if the school did offer the drivers education program, they're severely lacking in real-world experience that you get from actual driving practice.

I was told ABC Driving School is good, but I have no personal experience with them.

Not sure if you know about these guys or not; they appear to offer pick up and drop off.

Driving School (http://institutefordriverssafety.org/About.html - broken link)

Default What is worth to you?

Before you make your decision I would suggest you closely compare schools. DrivingMBA is more expensive because of their approach to preparing novice drivers. If you are looking for cheap, quick and easy, then they would not be the school for you. If you are looking for a school that goes above and beyond to prepare novice drivers for the "craziness" that is on our roadways, then I would recommend DrivingMBA. In my opinion driver training is so worth the extra money, what other activity do we allow our 16 years to do that might kill them without a high level of training. Think about it before you decide to give your son second rate training to save a few dollars.

Bondurant offers Teen Driving courses as well...although the 3 day course seems a bit more than Driving MBA

The OP probably made a decision three years ago, but the info may help someone else.
