Now that the weather is really nice, I'd like to find some restaurants with nice outdoor patios where one can relax and have a drink and a nice meal. We're in Gilbert, so mostly interested in East Valley alternatives. Not something that just looks out over the parking lot, or a busy road... but rather something quiet with a nice view.

Any kind of food is fine.

Thanks,

hikernut

Valle Luna on Dobson and Ray in Chandler. Their patio overlooks the lake and you get to enjoy the ducks.

Grimaldi's (sp?) on Alma School and Queen Creek also over looks a lake, but the road is across from that

Most golf courses have pretty good restaurants attached that will overlook the golf course

My favorite...The Keg at the Chandler Fashion Center. Great patio although not much of a view. Keegan's on Alma School and Queen Creek. I think Postino's in downtown Gilbert has a patio. There are a ton of restaurants with patios, just depends on what cuisine you are looking for.

Thanks for the replies. I'd forgotten about Valle Luna... that's a good one I haven't been to in years.

Just looking for some new ideas, and perhaps rediscovering some old ideas.

My favorite: Beef and brew with a view: Rustlers' Rooste at 48th St. and Baseline.

The patio at Las Sendas Golf Club. It has an amazing view of the entire valley.

Nestled in the shadow of the Squaw Peak Mountain, Aunt Chilada’s is truly an historic landmark with a personality all its own.

Not near Gilbert, but worth the drive, IMO, is El Encanto in Cave Creek. Not mountain views, but the outdoor patio setting is a Spanish courtyard style duck pond.
