In the coming months we are going to be gutting a house in Goodyear that we are going to reside in/putting down ceramic or porcelain floor tile throughout. Also have some minor sheet-rock work that needs to be done(matching texture on an area where there's a settlement crack on the ceiling).

I've done my share of floor tiling in the past/sheet-rock repair but have no desire to do it anymore and want to hire it out.

Like to hear experience good/bad on such contractors(definitely want licensed contractors). Been pricing around a few tile stores/contractors, seen the work of one in a neighbors home, etc though looking for another 1 or 2 for comparison/quotes.

Quality work at a decent/fair price of course is the goal.

Please PM me or comments on the board are fine.....thanks!

I had my tile installed by a crew that the store where I bought the tile provided. Unfortunately, that store is long gone, but the work they did was very good indeed, and they worked really hard (and long hours) to get it done more quickly than the salesman had indicated. If you go with a reputable store, and get some references to check out, I think you'd be good to go.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled. These guys were subcontractors so I am not sure about their pricing but they did excellent work and we resolved to use them when when we have the tile in the rest of the house redone. They did the kitchen floor and the backsplash.
