Simple question, I think. Which Phoenix radio stations (if any) play music from the 70's and 80's? I'm tired of flipping stations and no, I do not subscribe to Sirius or the like.

This Baby Boomer thanks you! LOL!!

Try KOOL 94.5 (60s-80s) Mix 96.9 (70's and 80's) Got that from an internet search, not personal experience, except I have listened to KOOL at times.

96.9 plays more alternative/pop from the 90s to now. They rarely play anything pre 90s. Mega 104.3 and Eva 95.5 are good old school stations as well. I haven't listened to the regular radio in God knows how long so things could have changed.

Thanks for the update on 96.9 -- the info I found online must be dated. Formats do change!

99.9 and 95.5 play 80s, 90s, 2000s, and modern music. 100.7 plays classic rock and 94.5 is the "oldies" station.

Except 94.5 USED to play oldies (50s/60s)...now it seems to play anything from late 60s through late 80s with some "do wop" thrown in every once in a while. Stopped listening to them about 4 years ago as soon as they started playing Michael Jackson's 80s songs...

"Oldies" can no longer be classified as JUST 50/60s. Oldies is anything over 20-25 years old, really. Michael Jackson's Thriller album is over 30 years old.

I listen to 94.5, 99.9, 95.5, 104.4, 93.3...

Listen to 96.9 if you want to hear the same 4 songs over and over all day.

Those 50s & 60s songs might soon be classified as ELDERLIES!
