Hello, I live in Phoenix and someone turned me in for having wood pallets on a utility trailer parked in my driveway. I currently moved it off the property temporarily. My question is, do you think I can get away with just putting a tarp on the trailer and covering the wood pallets from being seen? I mean, no one would be able to tell whats underneath it right?

Just looking for some input, thanks!

Turned in for what? To whom? You need to provide more information.

I do not live in an HOA neighborhood, but I was turned into the city of Phoenix by someone for having several wood pallets on a utility trailer. Granted, I did have some stacked next to the trailer as well, but I believe them being on the trailer in plain sight is a problem too. I just want to know if I can get away with covering them up on the trailer with a tarp.

I am waiting for a call back from the inspector, just thought I would get some opinions from others. Plus, I don't want to give them a hint on what I plan on doing. lol

I believe it was this:

Outside storage
Phoenix City Code Chapter 39, Sec. 39-H
Outside storage of personal property at residentially zoned properties is limited to the rear yard behind the primary structure only. Any building or landscaping materials for use on the property, machinery, appliances or parts/auto parts may not be visible from beyond the boundaries of a residentially zoned property. Outdoor storage of items for commercial or business use at a residential property is not allowed. There are specific regulations that apply to outdoor storage and use on properties zoned for other than residential use that vary by zoning district.

Just curious, MetalGrand . . .

Why would you want a bunch of Wood Pallets creating an eyesore in your driveway or anyplace in and around the front of your home?
