The Monsoon (translated "Season", "Stormy Season" or "Wind Shift", depending on who you ask) offically is from June 15th through September 30th. However, it can be much shorter than that. Usually it doesn't begin until the beginning of July. And it usually starts winding down in late August and is completely gone by the middle of September.

And if you want to know about our winter rainy season its from mid-December to late March. Southern AZ deserts are the wettest in the world due to 2 rainy seasons.

June 15th-september 30th, but they normally hit phoenix around july 4th. The dates just say when monsoonal activity is most likely to occur. the first storm wont necesarily hit on june 15th, and the last one on sept 30th.

Everyone likes it for the rain, but I wish it would just get the rain over with so we don't have to deal with all these overcast, humid, rainless days!! It looks like this week will be under 100 but with high humidity!! Ahh I moved away from this stuff for a reason lol At least it lasts only a month or 2

Friday and Saturday are supposed to be 92 and 93 respectively here in Chandler. Hah, we'll see if that holds true! Let's hope so though! Days in the 90s with this humidity aren't that bad!

The monsoon season in Arizona is from June 15 to September 30, but in Phoenix it doesn't usually start until about early to mid-July with an average start date around July 7. The storms usually peak between mid-July to mid-August and usually the monsoon season is over by around September 13.
