It depends on the skills you have and the kind of job you are looking for. If you don't have college or trade skills but are in good physical condition check out Amazon warehouses or some of the distribution centers like Macy's or Dick's. I went on a tour of Amazon facilities earlier this year. There are many people your age working there. Maybe you find a job and meet someone too! Amazon has centers in Goodyear and Phoenix.

Not sure what your race has to do with anything...but the more relevant question is what are you trained to do...what kind of job are you looking for...transportation requirements...

Find the job first, then find a place to live that's within a reasonable commute.

Generally speaking, Arizona is not segregated by race, but by income. I can't speak to jobs as I don't know your skill set, but you can comfortably live anywhere you can afford.

Why are you moving from Glendale? Is it lame out there?

I'm a single guy looking to move to the valley in a few months. I'm thinking Central PHX, South Scottsdale, North Tempe/ASU or West Mesa would be the best areaa for singles.

No jobs in Glendale and its kinda bored. Lots of homeless always on the streets, at least in my area. Where your looking is probably better. Can't wait till my lease is up.
