Hi all, we're thinking of moving to the Phoenix area and were wondering about Arrowhead Lakes area in Glendale, AZ. Anyone have an opinion?

Nice area. Good schools, low crime, and plenty of amenities.

I second the above. The Arrowhead area is pretty nice and one of the most sought after areas in the west valley. Decent mall, shopping, plenty of restaurants, and everything you'll ever need on a day to day basis is right there.

Don't know if it's still true but about 10 years ago there was an article in the paper talking about how that general area had the most real millionaires in the Phoenix area outside of Paradise Valley. People that were actually worth $1 million or more, not just high wage earners. It's a nice upper middle class neighborhood.
